Feather and the Rock

Popped up to Chasewater for dawn, but was mildly disappointed by the lack of warmth in the sky.  This was a good as it got.  I will admit to placing the feather on the rock, which I felt gave a nice contrast to the hardness of the rest of the scene's components.  

The weather brightened up considerably as the day went on and for once it looks as though the English and Welsh bank holiday (sorry Scotland!), will be fine for some.  Argh, just looked at the forecast and seen we have yet another south east, north west split.  Sorry!
