Tonight we had a doglegs walk and went to pick some brambles. % jars of jam have now been produced by Eubers.  With the use of a potato masher, her has gone for a consistency that is easier to spread than last season's bramble jam.  There are still loads to brambles to be picked over the net few weeks, so I think I'll google a few ideas for the use of the berries apart from jam and pies and crumbles.  

Unless, Eubers is winding me up, he says this kind of fungi glows in the dark......  I'm hoping this is not a case of gullible has been taken out of the dictionary!
