Hornet Love

My back yard was almost moving by itself this morning.  The hornets hovered just above the top of the grass blades and moved so quickly that I didn't think I'd be able to catch them with the camera.  I finally just pointed the camera at one spot and kept pushing the shutter until I figured I'd caught some of them.  
It was a bit unnerving to stand there feeling the air from their wings on my ankles but they were way too interested in each other to bother with me.
