The Gathering of Friends

Initially the face book was really quite liberal about the gathering of friends.
In days past it was entirely possible to click on interesting profiles, befriend folk and network with them. Sandie Shaw, Helena Torry and Frank Discussion to name but a few, number amongst my FB friends.
It seems those days are gone.
Banned yet again for a few weeks for asking someone interesting to be a "FB friend" I decided to unfriend a few folk. Not out of badness, but as a clear out of the folk I had never met, no longer hang out with and who no longer interest me. Mad folk, daft folk and those of an outrageous persuasion. All came under scrutiny.
The face book has made even that process difficult.
