Patterned tiles

Saw these in Porto... they've got loads of patterned tile-fronted buildings in Portugal, but I didn't see any more quite like this.  And it caught my eye because it's really similar to what you'd typically see on traditional Fair Isle jumpers, or perhaps general Nordic style.
