Back a bit more...

We had a great time today exploring some of the small islands in Venice's northern lagoon. It was much less crowded than the centre with  open spaces and green too. In extras is a view from the bell tower in Torcello, and one of the water buses which we've used extensively making the most of our three day ticket.
