Busy

Busy morning on the allotment digging up potatoes! The Wild by Design allotment arrived and in return for some of my raspberries offered me her strawberry plants! Even more reason to get the potatoes up as the plants can go in their place! Well - what a disappointing crop. First earlier seemed to have  disappeared completely, I dug up either side of their trench and found a few. The next trench revealed blighted potatoes all mushy and smelly. I dug up one more plant from the next trench - success! But by now I was tired and it was hot so I headed home - the strawberry plants will hopefully be ok in the large polythene sacks they are in! 
Wild by design spotted this frog and called me over whilst I was digging - what a beauty!
