Beautiful but .......

The Whitby Moors. Vast. Wild. Very very beautiful. And today .... W E T and W I N D Y .

I pulled up on the Whitby to Pickering road to take this. The wind nearly pulled the van door off, then tried to blow me over. The torrential rain soaked me and the camera lens in seconds. The clouds were dark and foreboding.

I struggled back to the van, where my wife was in hysterics. 'What were you photographing?' she managed through the laughter. 'There's just moors and rain', she said.

'Tthat's what I was photographing', I replied.
