Daffodil Day

Today is Daffodil Day in New Zealand, an opportunity for New Zealanders to say thank you to the Cancer Society by buying a Daffodil. Having experienced the Society's overwhelming support personally when Marie was diagnosed with Bowel cancer;  I can't thank them enough. The organisation is mostly Volunteer and these people help make your stress and trauma a little or a lot lighter. Each day when we walked the Daffodil Walk to Oncology where Marie underwent Radiation Treatment, I could not believe the number of local people who were also undergoing treatment
