Easier

than I expected, to dismantle an electric toothbrush. But the battery is soldered in place and although in theory I could change it, in practice my soldering tends to go wrong. So this is demoted to a spare that does not hold its charge, and if the new one lasts for the same 5 years then it is quite competitive with buying a new toothbrush twice a year.
