Caledonian Mansions
Headed down to Great Western Road today, to get some paint samples from Farrow & Ball.
In between the rain and wind, I managed to cross the road and take a shots of the fine Caledonian Mansions, designed by James Miller in 1897. This Neo-Jacobean building was first conceived as an annexe to the Central Hotel, which was reached by the new line from Central Station. Love the exuberant turret.
