Jealous

One of the team brought in their invitation to the walk over the new Queensferry Bridge. The invitation opens up to reveal the 3D three towers and their supports. I believe it will be the longest type of this bridge in the world when opened y the Queen on 4 September.

There was a ballot to get the chance to walk over the new bridge the weekend after next when they close it for traffic ahead of the ceremony. It was hugely over-subscribed and I did not succeed in getting a place. But my colleague and her family did so I wish them and other friends well in what will be a wonderful experience.

Half day today as it is the start of decimating the garden ahead of the Annual flower show at the Scottish Government on Saturday. Lots of preparations underway. My aim is, as always, to enter as many classes as possible and build up points!
