outrageous lilies...

i love when the outrageous lilies open in the garden...they are just so 'in your face' amazing! 

Not an easy day for me....been going up the Sydney which is an hour away, each week for the past 4 weeks to have what they call 'presurgery information'...which is so very helpful, but also quite daunting, cos it brings it right into the here and now!   Talking about the equipment that will be needed after the surgery, and how to put your socks on and your underwear...all very daunting actually.   I know it is a good thing to be prepared, but it is also quite frightening too.   I'm due to have my knee replaced sometime in October.....which is moving in pretty fast!

On a brighter note, we have 2 delightful young women wwoofing with us....Mekilya and Evelyn....they are both wonderful musicians and we were treated to a small and intimate performance last night...see extras!

lots of customers came up the hill today....but i felt like i didn't accomplish much in the way of producing!!!   still trying to adapt to a different rhythm....not an easy thing for me!  but i really can't complain, everyone of them bought lots of pottery :)
