Longannet

After a day of gardening and walking, we decided to treat ourselves to ice creams at Bridge of Allan. However, when we got there, the place was choc-a-bloc and there was not a parking space to be had.
So we decided to try and dodge the rain by heading east towards Grangemouth and the Kinneil lagoon. The tide was very full and nearly all the bird life was out of sight, just a few gulls bobbing about waiting on the mudflats reappearing.
They said the old power station would be mothballed but I have also heard that demolition is also on the cards. I hope they are not going to make a big mistake.
