Autumn really is on its way!!

Fungi spotted on our walk today.......home and spent an hour trying to identify this lovely clump. Brick Tuft which grows on stumps of deciduous trees, right shape,colour, habitat, locality, time of year....ticked the boxes. Not edible, just as well I didn't bring any home for dinner!!!
