The games people play

Today was one of the highlights of Oban's calendar - the Argyllshire Gathering, otherwise known as the Oban Highland Games.

There was a good turnout, beginning with the march behind the pipers from Station Square down the road to Mossfield and the games field. 

Rain held off until quite late in the afternoon and a good time was had by all - even better if you enjoy the sound of the bagpipes.

I did try to record some of the events, but did better with recording some of the spectators!
