Creative Conversation

Met up with my jeweller friend J to discuss our upcoming joint exhibition that's going to be part of Art Walk Porty next week. Although the title of this blip could simply describe our very interesting and wide-ranging conversation in The Skylark over a pot of tea in which the time just whizzed by, the exhibition itself is another 'creative conversation'. Just like I did last year for the Art Walk this was a series of pieces inspired by each other's work. I sent J a photo and she sent me a picture of a piece of jewellery. I responded with a photograph and she created a new piece of jewellery. We managed four each and with one more over the weekend we should have a dozen, six each, to go on display in the library. Coincidentally these two different 'creative conversations' have been with people with the same name. I'm wondering now if I should deliberately look for more creative people with the same name for the next one!
