Very pleased to get a phone call last night from one of my good friends from Cairo. He's been trying to get a visa and was here earlier looking for work but had to go home with no job or visa. I didn't know the number, the voice was familiar but he was trying to make me think it was someone else. He'd arrived two days ago, having only bought his ticket the day before. It was rushed because that's how it works sometimes. Happy to have a buddy here.

Met a friend for our weekly coffee which was nice.
