Ben Venue and Loch Achray

Today's the day ......................... for a reminder

This quite often happens to us - on the morning that we have to pack everything up and leave the Trossachs.

We stop just along the road in the lay-by that will give us a last look at Loch Achray with Ben Venue towering over it at the far end - and the view just blows us away.  The water as still as can be with the shimmering reflections of hill and sky.  The last wispy bits of clouds hanging in the glen and tantalisingly over the summit.  And you are reminded why it is that you love coming here. 

More than that, you know with complete certainty that you will be back just as soon as it is possible - to see it all again ........................
