A grand day out

A long day today starting with huge thunderstorms and torrential rain from 3am, much more tropical than we are used to. Then up at 6am and running teenager to the bus for a day trip.

At 8am a call from work to say the weather was looking settled for the day so out to do some survey work by boat. The main blip is a shot I took as we left to go home on the boat looking back, the weather changing again as more rain swept in, I liked the light. In the extra I have put a couple from the day. The boat in the shot is ours having dropped us off before coming to meet us in a different place.

Home at 7pm in time to take KK to football and pick teenager up from her trip to Edinburgh festival. Now it must be  time for bed
