Last day!

On the beach by 08.30, off by 11.00. Out of apartment by noon, on a bus at 12.30. Sadly at the airport they refused to check is in 7hrs early! So we had to leave the luggage (and Daddy) at the airport while we went into Mahon.

A boat trip round the harbour was order of the day. Kids enjoyed it and the glass bottom boat bit at the harbour mouth. After we found churros and then had an explore of the smaller streets before heading for food and then back to the airport.

We have had a lovely holiday. We have learnt the kids are now old enough to cope with evenings meals out (as long as we don't do it too often) and that they are now good enough swimmers for them, and us, to be happy in the sea, no pool required. This opens up a whole raft of options for holidays in the future. Now we just have to deal with a stupidly late flight and grumpy children tomorrow.
