Wednesday walk
I was up very early to do some printing ready for tomorrow's RPS Documentary Group meeting. For a very long time I have been happy with the quality of mono print I can achieve. Today, the first prints came out with a green cast. ARGHH! I have no idea why becasue the settings were unchanged. Then one cartridge ran low and had to be replaced.
The day improved quickly as I set out for Catton and Ann P's walk. It was a lovely varied route. We walked by the riverside, in woods, over fields and on the moor tops. Perfect. There were only 11 of us because another group was over in the Howgills.
Unfortunately in one of the woods we had to avoid the obstacles from fallen trees and Ann caught her head on a spiky branch. There was a lot of blood from a 1cm cut, quite deep. I did take a photograph..........
The heather on the moors was lovely and the smell was delicious as we walked through.
Right, back to the printer!
