Friendship

Old friends make easy company, and this morning my company was two friends from forty-seven years ago. We became very close in the process of starting our WI, being the first three officers. Gwen moved away about twenty years ago but has kept in touch. Ann and I have stayed put and are still involved in the WI in different ways. We enjoy talking to Gwen about her present WI which is small and rural and in Dorset. . She has been their president for many years. It is very different from the one we started which has had 100 members right from the start. I think I would prefer the smaller rural one.
