a bit windy

Put two pine trees at the front of the house and two at the back with last night's winds and what do you get? every single outside surface is totally blanketed with pine needles and torn branches - the patio, the table and chairs, the paths, the top of the car - it will take me weeks to clear them up, and that's before the leaves really start to fall!

bit of a frustrating day today, the website for the OU course I am doing on digital photography opened - the course starts officially on Monday - so spent ages looking around that, then had a go at taking some shots of this pine branch with the macro lens, but they looked stupid, so ended up just taking a bit of the branch with the macro setting on the camera. back to the OU site now.
