If Only

On a day like today I would have liked this view to be the start of some exotic trip to somewhwere hot and dry. It was in fact a brief view through the rain as I waited for my daughter Emily and her partner Dan as they returned from their American adventure. The slightly irritating thing about collecting anyone from Newcastle Airport is that even when you use the "express pick up and drop offpoint" you still have to pay. The words 'rip off' spring to mind.

Passed a few 'FLOOD' signs today but nothing very serious certainly nowhere near as bad as some people.
