Up Close and Personal....

With a praying mantis. I don't get to see a lot of these. The few that I have got close to have been fascinating. They just sat there and watched me. As I moved, they have moved to keep a close eye on me. After I had been taking pics of this one for a few minutes, it started swaying the way I have seen them sway on TV when they are about to attack something. I made an exist just in case this one was a female and was actually checking me out.. You KNOW what they do to the male after mating.

Go large if you want to get REALLY close.

Just a few days left till our long awaited vacation. The excitement is growing almost with each minute.
