Cousins

I made my way down to Kent with Ruby today. En route we met with TL (arranged without having ever met before through a fb group I belong to) for a delightful woodland walk with 7 month old Tansy, one of Ruby's cousins. Perry Wood nr Selling was the venue.

It was the oddest August day. Tropical air had come up apparently so it was warm and terribly muggy under some really low dark grey cloud. Truly ugly weather. I was drenched with sweat by the end. Ugh. But this did not mar our walk and for two strangers meeting for the first time conversation flowed surprisingly easily and got quite in depth. Mainly on the subject of dogs and dog and human nutrition!

Then it was on to C's where we're staying for a few days. Holiday time. Hurrah!
