early growth, late afternoon

sat on a deck overlooking a vineyard this afternoon, and was moved to put camera to face. This image was all bright greens and yellows, but I thought it might do well in mono because of it's graphic qualities. This has removed it's golden niceness and replaced it with a stranger flame-like feel.
