The Hidden Garden

Spent the afternoon with photography mentor Cheryl in Plas Cadnant, or the Hidden Gardens. They are spectacular but sadly closed to Basils.

We were working on techniques to produce impressionism in camera using multi exposure and intentional camera movement.

I took myself off to Penmon in the morning where the light was wonderful and low clouds draped the Menai Straits. Really love Penmon. I got talking to a couple of Mums who bring their kids there for paddling and poking about in the rocks.

Early supper at the excellent Midland tapas bar, then off to Traeth Beach for more impressionist and landscape work before dark. I never use aperture priority. Today I learned how useful it can be.
