Zero

I think I Blipped this Mitsubishi Zero over five years ago on my previous visit to Japan. It's such an iconic aircraft and is so impressive up close that I couldn't not Blip it again. Added to that, the fact that I'm currently reading about the political and military manoeuvrings within the Japanese establishment that lead directly to the Great Asian War, as the Japanese call it, it was a no brainer.
While Yasukuni-jinja is a controversial place for some, it is definitely worth a visit for military and history buffs to the Yushukan museum on the site.
