First meeting of the academic year - Department Heads Committee.  Heralds a whole week of meetings. Yay.  


Another fruitless on-campus search for Elizabeth, a walk to the bakkal (corner store) for essentials (beer and fruit) which was exhausting in this heat and humidity - especially the stairs that finish every excursion - and then Alex and family gave me delicious dinner. So nice to see them and catch up.
