Is this a type of iris?

My only photo today - a lonely flower in the car park. It was being whipped around by a mean southerly and I was surprised to see it wasn't too blurry.

That wind had better stop by tomorrow as Daughter and I are going to explore the estuary here. I am very keen to see how the bird life compares with the estuary at home.
