We went into Yellowstone park again today. There are so many stunningly colourful bubbling pools , geysers and geothermal features that it is really hard to choose which one to blip. An exhausting day with a lot of travelling and we have to be up at 3 am in the morning to get to a good viewing spot in time for the eclipse!

After walking around this area we drove to the area of Old Faithful Geyser, in the extra, looking very like a big friendly ghost. It is spectacular and very predictable to within a few minutes. It was about 3 minutes earlier than forecast so it was lucky we were in position in good time.
