Dead Parrot

Toy parrot of course! This morning we spent a few hours finishing up from yesterday. I swear we have more beer, wine, cider than we started with. There is even a bottle of prosecco in the fridge! Much of the time was taken with the darn carpet! I have sprayed and blotted, dried and hoovered three times now! Did a final spray before bed this evening and hoping it is all clean tomorrow morning!

Popped to Dunelm this afternoon, forgetting my car was in the garage for some repairs and had to do a quick drive home to pick it up!

Left over salmon and salad for me and Mr L found a curry in the freezer. Lots of cakes and wine too!!!

Over dinner we counted up the cost, in time as well as money of the Friends and family BBQ, which has become popular and grows in number! We have decided on an alternative for next year, hopefully with less work attached so that we can sit and enjoy some socialising too!
