Sheep In Front

A lovely morning.  The boys went to church and I went for a five mile run.  Thankfully the wind wasn’t as strong as it has been for the past couple of days, but I was still glad when I wasn’t running straight into it. I came home and made some chocolate chip muffins which have gone down very well, and they helped to fuel BB’s cello practice.

After lunch, when it had clouded over and there were spots of rain, we drove up to Hopes, and walked to the reservoir – it was a bit of a route march as the midges were out and TT wasn’t happy.  We then drove to the coast and the weather improved considerably and had a really lovely walk at Tyninghame.  We came home via the supermarket, where we had ten minutes to do some shopping as it was about to shut,  and then I was on tea which took longer to cook than it should have done.

TT sat in the garden enjoying the rest of the sunshine, while I cooked, and we then all had an early night.

Here are the boys walking along the water conduit which leads to Hopes Reservoir, being led by sheep.  Poor BB was worried that the sheep would get lost!  The extra shows the location of our second walk at Tyninghame.
