Trying to escape!!

Not from my garden!

A day when everything took longer than expected. I was clearing out the jars of jam and chutney that moved with us to this house 2 years ago. I wouldn't like to tell you the dates on some of the jars!!! Well they are all empty now and the contents in the bin.

The jars had a good wash in our seldom used dishwasher (it was already in the house), so that they can be safely reused.

A session in the garden, before Amber's afternoon walk. As we came through the park I saw this rose trying to escape. There didn't appear to be any other blooms on the other side in the owner's garden!!

Thank you for the comments about yesterday's rose. Well the bush almost came to grief today as Amber decided to dig it up!!! She knew that she was in trouble........:0(
