Meditation
Life has been a little hectic recently, so I have turned to this little book for some wisdom and inspiration. I am only on page 15 and I am finding it useful and enjoyable already.
The book is written by a Buddhist monk and each chapter is formed by an essay and a series of short messages to consider and remember. The pages also contain some beautiful drawing to help reinforce points made in the text.
One of my work colleagues has started reading a short meditation before she starts work each day, a moment to calm and focus her mind. I think I will try this practice myself and see if I find it helpful.
