Solar Eclipse

Sadly here in Boston, we are not in the total eclipse zone, and without the aid of special glasses, you really wouldn't have noticed anything out of the ordinary -- it didn't get dark, and the sun appeared to be shining the whole time.  But there were plenty of people on Boston Common who came far better equipped than I.  This nice young man was kind enough to let me have a gander through his eclipse peepers, and then I could really see the moon sliding over the face of the sun!
