Water Everywhere.
Thank you to Nickimags888 for hosting today's challenge and suggesting the theme of "water."
Woke up to more rain coming down, drove to the visitor centre for Connemara at Letterfrack where they had wifi, breakfast and coffee. Read about the Island of Omey which you can walk to at low tide which was at 11:30. We got the camper parked in one of the few parking spaces and it had stopped raining but we stepped out into sea fret. We joined the few hardy souls, trousers rolled up, barefooted, and crossed the extensive sands between the mainland and the island. On the return trip, a group of horses were being ridden in a sullen line, out to the island. They must have been soaked because as soon as we reached the van the heavens opened again. No wonder this is the Green Isle.... and it is going to rain tomorrow too.
