FIRE IN THE HILLS....

... or to be more precise, the Rural Fire Service are making the most of the present conditions to conduct pretty major fire burn offs to help with what looks like building up to a dry summer. This then means the chance of a bad bush fire season, and these burn offs whilst causing some real serious smoke haze sure will make a difference if in fact we have a bad summer.

After a superb Blip meet weekend l headed back home today and arrived back this afternoon and felt this made for a pretty smoky blip!!

Plus the clouds were quite different so all in all a good record of what we can experience in the present dry times at this time of the year.

Feel for those that have respiratory conditions, but for my mind this falls into the category of "short term pain for a long term gain"!
