(uh-oh)
We took a quick ride to the beach to check the waves after dinner- it's been windy, and the surfers were out, working with better waves than we usually get here. But after my first few snaps, my camera kept fogging up on me, and it wasn't the lenses, it was inside. I remembered that I had been at the edge of the waves when photographing grandaughter N at the beach on the 8th and though I was very careful not to get the camera wet, there is always a lot of salt (mist?) blowing in the wind so close to the water.
I've been putting off getting the camera cleaned and checked out beause I didn't want to be without it, but it's long overdue. I had to give up on photos that night and let the camera sit a couple days. Meanwhile, we're having trouble finding the extended warranty protection plan that D bought when he purchased the camera as a gift for me, since he didn't want me to see the receipt, and therefore hid it somewhere. (since I'm back-blipping this, I've since used the camera a little more each time- not as often- and I'm worried that it should get in soon, but still hate the thoughts of not having it. So far it's still working...)
