Buzz

This is Buddleja Buzz, a type specially grown for pots, and although it has taken a couple of years to get underway, it is now doing terrifically - and the bees love it.

There are three of us from the craft shop celebrating our 60th birthday this year, so we were treated to Sunday lunch at The Lynnfield in Kirkwall.  Twelve of the fourteen of us made it and we had an excellent meal, really delicious, and a really nice relaxed time.  We always celebrate any birthdays ending with a zero in a fitting way!  The prosecco was flowing!

Meanwhile Mike was manoeuvring the new mooring into position, so by the time I got home, Peridot was there, moored outside the sitting room window!  The fact that the car is in the garage, getting serviced before we sell it, means we have an uninterrupted view of her and Mike can sit and watch her while he sit and reads.  What a life!
