Books

This is my pile of books (growing) ready for me to read.......
I do like reading, but other things get in the way - work, hobbies, tv etc. I tend to read 1 or 2 books on holiday, so planning a holiday soon ..... then will have to decide which books to take :)

A day spent sewing - it should have been at the WI hall but I decided not to go - by the time I was ready to start (nearly lunch), then put everything needed into the car to unpack at the other end ...... much easier staying in my now tidy sewing room. Working on our grandsons quilt cover - I had already cut the pieces, pinned together in rows etc. What I didn't account for was that as I'm seeing together triangles, some needed to be point top and the others flat top .... a lot of unpicking. Got there in the end, just the borders to put in, batting, back and binding :)

(Waited in for someone to collect an item I put in Freecycle ........ grrr they never turned up or contacted, don't you hate that!)

Back to work tomorrow ........
