Good news amongst all this other s*ite

So the boy got himself a new job and it's permanent and he likes the people and the role and the fact he was offered more money than it was advertised at suggests he should be able to handle it (even on very little sleep). We now have to hope that we can sort a start date that means we can still get paternity leave from his current employers.
