Laggan Ulva

In 1997-8-9 I researched and wrote a book about the history of MacBraynes buses.  Part of my research took me onto Mull and on the wettest day of the January Winter, I was driving down from Tobermory on the back roads on the western side of Mull when I espied this wonderful old Volvo cattle truck.  In a hurry to catch the ferry I snapped a shot from the car window and drove on down (and across) to Craignure.  I've never seen the pic since that date until today!

I have been trawling all my old negs, slides and pics for a particular image for another Scottish book and found a loose strip on negs in the bottom of a storage box, scanned them and found the missing image.  When I tell you there are about 10,000 images yet to be scanned amongst around 100,000 already scanned over 20 years you might understand my elation to find this pic.  You may not.
