Beneath Biscay

Railing

A quick coffee in El Arca, looking out over a sunny lunchtime world through the window railings.

It has changed hands and I have resolved to use it a bit more often. Use it or lose it, not that my meagre consumption would make much difference. When with a group we usually go to cider bars, of which this is not one, so any patronage is usually a solo effort.

While I was out I also popped in to Sr. Lúpulo (Mr Hoppy) a 'real ale' shop come bar. I had a decade long wait in Spain before ales made an appearance. Now there are many micro-breweries in Spain, including several here in Asturias (extras).

This afternoon made an advance booking to tour the Venice's Doje's palace for our upcoming trip.
