Classics

Lots going on in the village today.
We went to the food market and bought cheese, sourdough bread, fat rascals ( a bit like a scone) curry sauces, little filo pastry patties with mushroom and lentil filling and other little delicacies.
Then we went to the Classic Car Show held on the cricket ground, well over two hundred entries.
I loved this shot when l took the photograph of a teddy bear sat on a picnic hamper in the back of a Wolseley and when l downloaded it saw other cars in the reflection of the glass.
Took an extra collage too which might interest car lovers.
After a good couple of hours there we went to the village hall to see the vintage fair and an art and crafts fair, very tempting!
Had a go at bowling on the local green as members were there to give help and advice, my neighbour plays and after this little try, l can see why.
Came home to eat some of our goodies, then this afternoon there is a brass band playing in the park and afternoon teas and donkey rides.
Verity and Kitty cycled over with their dad, stopped for a drink then carried on with a circular route to go home.
We picked a bowl of blueberries while they were here and ate a few, great crop this year.
Just waiting for my son Tim, DIL and Grandsons to arrive as they are coming for dinner and staying overnight.
