Memoriam
Today was a sad day. My favorite uncle passed away and we said farewell.
As you can see my uncle was First Steersman on Hollands grandest cruiseship in the 50's.
He was a great musician too, even though he couldn't read one note he played Rachmaninov's 3rd like no one else could.
We said goodbye at the coast line in stormy weather, but at the highlight of the service the sun suddenly shone briefly and there was a vessel at the horizon.
Someone did some great orchestration up there. This is the only picture I took today and it's my respect for a great man.
