Portland Bill

Terrific storms have been lashing the South Coast overnight.
This afternoon Rob and I drove up to Portland. The sea was rough but running sideways across the bay so not pounding against the rocks like it does in the winter. A black cloud was moving towards us fast I wanted a photo of the lighthouse and the sea, which meant going out on some rocks, the wind was so strong you could hardly stand up, I abandoned the idea of using my tripod and only got a few shots before we were soaked! I liked the rays coming from the hole in the storm cloud just above the lighthouse.
