People ......

....are amazing. Today we took our nieces to the airport for a 6 am check in [ up at 4.45!] then in the afternoon we joined friends int own for lunch and went on to see The Lady Boys of Bangkok. They were, as always, amazing! Hugely professional and entertaining, comical in some numbers and beautiful. I love the fact that we live in a time where in  many parts of the world  the psychological gender of a person is respected and people are able to become the person they are inside. Nigel and I watched a documentary some years ago about how very difficult it is in Britain for boys and men in other belief systems who are transgender or gay and can only be themselves in secret. It was very moving.
